PROF DWI ANDREAS SANTOSA

Born on September 27, 1962, this expert in bioremediation is affiliated with the Bogor Agricultural University (IPB). He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from Gadjah Mada University (UGM), followed by further education at Padjadjaran University. He obtained his Ph.D. from the Faculty of Life Sciences, Technische Universität Braunschweig, Germany. He joined CORE Indonesia as a Senior Economist. His career includes roles such as Director at the Indonesian Center for Biodiversity and Biotechnology, Chairman of the Faculty of Agriculture at IPB, and a Board member at the Excellent Centre Water Management in Developing Countries (EXCEED). His contributions to agriculture and biotechnology are evidenced by several patents he holds with his colleagues, including US Patent 7977378 and Euro Patent 1791823.
