AKHMAD AKBAR SUSAMTO, PH.D

A man born in Metro, Central Lampung, 35 years ago, Akbar is an alumnus of Gadjah Mada University. He earned his doctorate from Monash University, Australia, with a dissertation titled “Essays on Political Economy.” Besides his activities at CORE Indonesia, Akbar—his common nickname—is very active in his alma mater’s environment. In addition to teaching, he serves as the Coordinator of the Working Group for Indonesia’s Competitiveness at Gadjah Mada University.
